''Bulle'', a play directed by the French director Léo Barcet that represents the meeting between the contemporary French stage and traditional Vietnamese music, will be performed in HCM City in November.
A one-hour experimental music concert on Saturday will feature dan tranh (16-chord zither),
dan bau (monochord) and bamboo flute played by German composer and
percussionist Burkhard Beins and Vietnamese traditional musicians.
Dom Dom (Fire-fly) Hanoi and Nha San Collective have teamed up for the
first time together to a night of experimental music and visual
art that will take place at Nha San Studio tonight.
Electronics musician Luong Hue Trinh will team up tonight with dan tranh (16-chord zither) artist Nguyen Thuy Dung and award-winning violinist Dao Van Trung to present a re-working of cai luong (reformed opera).
